I have been told that the CCSD will “retire” 100 additional parcels in 2009 in their buildout reductiion plan. I guess my question is, will the CCSD perform weed abatement on these 100 parcels as well as the ones already in the system? Last year weed abatement was NOT performed on most of the exsisting lots and if it was done it was done in a sub-standard manner. It seems rather lucridous to me that the average lot owner is required to abate fire hazards but the CCSD exempts their own properties.
