A Cambrian at today's meeting asked the same question you have asked: How will I know if my vote will be counted? I asked precisely the same question myself at Monday's Q & A that took place instead of the meeting. Gold star to District Council Art Montandon for consistency on this point: After the vote is certified by the League of Women Voters, all the ballots that were disqualified (and the ones counted) will be made available to the public, subject to privacy and non-disclosure laws. My translation from lawyer-speak to English is this: Any Cambrian can make a public records request after the vote has been certified by the League - and possibly received and acted upon by the Board. Although Art didn't rule out the possibility of some recourse for disqualified protests by the Board, but he did say they'd agreed they would abide by the League's decision.

Amanda~

You answered my question about finding out if mine was one of the votes that might be counted among the signatures that did not match.
I, personally, switch between an abrieviated one I use for work and credit card signing and might have used that one for the petition signed at Farmer's Market.

How will we know when the letters are validated so the almost one hundred of us can prove that we are the ones who signed our respective petitions?

Thanks for keeping us informed.
